The House of Bishops of the Anglican Church of Rwanda convened in the conference room of EAR Kigali Diocese, today on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, elected Archdeacon HABIMFURA Vincent as the first Bishop of Nyaruguru Diocese (located in Southern Province of Rwanda).

The House of Bishops has decided that Bishop Elect HABIMFURA Vincent will be ordained and enthroned on Sunday, August 28, 2022, date which is also the day of the inauguration of Nyaruguru Diocese. The announcement of Archdeacon HABIMFURA Vincent's election as the first Bishop of Nyaruguru Diocese was signed by the Most Rev. Dr. Laurent MBANDA, Archbishop of the Anglican Church of Rwanda, as shown in the letter below.
