Today, March 2nd, 2023, the handover was done between Arch. Mathias NZAKAMARWANIKI who has assumed the responsibilities of Archdeacon of Shyogwe and the new Archdeacon, Joseph SEHORANA.
ARCHDEACON JOSEPH SEHORANA HAS TAKEN UP THE RESPONSIBILITY OF LEADING SHYOGWE ARCHDEACONRY
The handover took place at the headquarters of Gahogo Parish, located in Muhanga District, Nyamabuye Sector, in the presence of different pastors. 
Shyogwe Archdeaconry is one of six archdeaconries that make up EAR, Shyogwe Diocese. So far, this coordination body is made of eight (8) Parishes: Shyogwe; Gahogo; Gikomero; Gasharu; Gisanga; Kavumu; Mutara; and Ntenyo. The total number of church members is 4946 according to the statistics dated November 2022.
