Today, July 19, 2020, churches and mosques have reopened after more than four months since they were closed to prevent the spread of Covid-19 pandemic. This decision was taken at the last meeting of the Council of Ministers which took place on July 15, 2020. To reopen the churches must meet the conditions of hygiene imposed by the Ministry of Health. Thus, only the churches which have been visited by local authorities and show that they meet these conditions have received the reopening authorization letter. On the first day, several churches had not been able to complete preparations for reopening.
